Vivo V27 Review – The Vivo V27, which was just released in India, offers a luxury design and industry-leading features. The phone has an outstanding 50MP camera that takes excellent pictures in a variety of lighting conditions, as well as a curved AMOLED display. The V27 can easily complete any task thanks to its Dimensity 7200 power source. The phone’s 4600mAh battery enables all-day use, while the 66W rapid charging technology allows for a swift charge.
The phone feels fantastic inside and is powered by Android 13. Whether the V27 is the finest camera phone under 35K, though, is the main question. The primary camera takes stunning shots in daylight conditions. The ultra-wide lens captures good images as well, but the details are not as sharp as the primary camera. The macro camera does its job, but the images lack detail and sharpness.
Vivo V27 Review
Low-light photography is a mixed bag. The primary camera does a decent job with some noise but the night mode helps to enhance the overall image quality. The ultra-wide lens, on the other hand, struggles in low light conditions. The 4600mAh battery, which effortlessly lasts a whole day with moderate usage, contributes to the exceptional battery life. And the 66W rapid charging technology charges the phone incredibly quickly when you do need to do so.
The Vivo V27’s operating system is Android 13 with Funtouch OS 12 on top. The user interface is easy to use, flexible, and fluid.Â
Price in India and Variants
In India, there are two storage options for the Vivo V27. The entry-level model costs Rs. 32,999 and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
There are two color choices for the phone: Magic Blue and Noble Black. You can buy it directly from the Vivo website or from online merchants like Flipkart.
Vivo V27 Specs
The Vivo V27 boasts an impressive design and build quality. Its glass back has a matte finish, giving it a premium look and feel. The phone’s curved frames add to its sleek appearance, and its thickness of just 2.3mm makes it incredibly slim.
The back of the phone features a large camera island with three lenses and a ring-shaped LED flash, which looks stunning. The back of the phone also changes color in the sunlight, adding to its visual appeal.
The phone’s lightweight build and smooth finish make it comfortable to hold, weighing in at just 180 grams. However, due to its tall size, it may require two hands to operate the top of the screen.
The phone’s right side houses the power button and volume rockers, while the bottom houses the SIM card slot, type-C connector, and loudspeaker.
Overall, the Vivo V27’s design and build quality make it look and feel like an expensive phone, rather than a mid-range device.
Vivo V27 Camera
In a variety of lighting situations, the main camera can produce beautiful images. The photos had a wide dynamic range in daylight, were rich in detail and color, and appeared punchy. With a special night set that retained the colors and accentuated the details, low-light images were also impressive.
Although not as detailed as the main camera, the ultra-wide photos were nonetheless decent. There was also a distinct change in color, with the main camera’s warmer tones seeming cooler in the ultra-wide photos.
As for the selfie camera, the 50MP lens takes fantastic selfies, capturing sharp and detailed images with natural-looking skin tones.
Vivo V27 Battery and Charging
The Vivo V27 is equipped with a 4600 mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. The battery backup is decent, and it can easily last for a full day with some juice left for the next day. However, heavy users might need to recharge it by the evening. For its battery size, the phone’s screen-on life of roughly 6 hours is really impressive. Even if a 5000mAh battery would have been preferable, the Vivo V27 succeeds in this area.
To fully charge the phone from zero to one hundred percent, the 66W fast charger needs about 45 minutes. The battery can be charged to about 50% of its capacity in approximately 15 minutes.

Vivo V27 Display
The 6.78-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display on the Vivo V27 has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1300 nits. Even in the open air, the display is visible and readable. The text displays sharply on the screen, and the colors are bright and vibrant. An immersive viewing experience is provided by the curved display and thin bezels. When using the UI or playing games, the 120Hz refresh rate offers a fluid and lag-free experience. The device enables HDR playback and Widevine L1, enabling customers to access premium content on OTT services.
Vivo V27 Performance and Software
The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset in the Vivo V27 supports up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone works wonderfully in regular use. The 120Hz display rate makes common tasks like browsing Instagram stories and reels and scrolling through apps deliciously smooth.
The phone can easily handle demanding apps like Snapchat and Instagram. While using the phone, there was no lag or stuttering. On the Vivo V27, even gaming is a wonderful experience. Both Asphalt 9 and Apex Legends Mobile ran without any issues when I gave them a try. Apex Legends at Original visual settings and Asphalt at High settings are both playable. There was no lag or frame drops that I could see. However, after prolonged gaming sessions, the phone can start to feel a little warm.
When you scroll up on the home screen of the phone, an app drawer appears, and you can access the notification panel by sliding downward. RAM expansion, Extreme Game Mode, Dynamic Effects, shaking to switch on the torch, smart split, and many other features are available.
Yet the phone also has a few pre-installed apps, including Spotify, LinkedIn, Netflix, PhonePe, and a few others. Thankfully, it’s simple to remove these programs from the settings.
