Virupaksha Storylines / Plot
Virupaksha is an exciting movie that takes place in a village called Rudravanam, which is cursed. The story begins in 1979 when a man named Venkata Chalapathy is accused of black magic and killed by his family. Chalapathy’s wife curses the village and it’s predicted that the village would be destroyed in 12 years. Chalapathy’s son Bhairava is taken to an orphanage.
Fast forward to 1991, 12 years after the curse was pronounced, Surya returns to the village with his family and friend to attend a festival. However when a villager dies in the temple, the village is placed under lockdown and there is fear of the curse being fulfilled. Surya and his family are asked to leave the village before sunset along with other visitors. But, Surya falls in love with Nandini and decides to stay.
