The Night Manager Season 2 Storylines (Plot)
The Night Manager is about a man named Shantanu Shaan Sengupta. He used to be in the Indian Navy, but now he works as a night manager at a fancy hotel in Dhaka. The story takes place during the Rohingya genocide in 2017. One day, a young girl named Safina Kidwai asks Shaan to help her escape to India. However, Shaan refuses to help her.
Safina then takes Shaans phone and records a secret meeting between her husband and another man named Shailendra Shelly Rungta. The two were discussing smuggling illegal weapons into Bangladesh. Safina takes pictures of the papers and returns the phone to Shaan. Shaan sees the evidence and becomes worried about what might happen.
Shaan goes to his friend Vikram Bhagwat, who works at the Indian High Commission in Dhaka, and tells him everything. Lipika thinks the evidence is enough to go after Shelly. She asks Shaan to keep Safina safe for a night until she can arrive in Dhaka the next day.
