Stree 2 Storylines & Plot
The movie Stree tells a story based on an old Indian legend about a witch who goes after men in the town of Chanderi. In Chanderi, people believe in a spirit called Stree who kidnaps men during a special festival that lasts for four days. All that remains of the men are their clothes. To keep themselves safe, the townsfolk write “O Stree come tomorrow” on their doors using bats’ blood. They also advise men to avoid being alone after 10 pm and to stay in groups for protection.
Our main character Vicky works as a tailor in Chanderi. During the yearly Pooja season, he meets a mysterious woman who captures his heart right away. She asks Vicky to make her a traditional outfit called a lehenga. The woman’s strange behavior raises suspicions among Vicky’s friend Bittu. Her shopping list includes unusual things like a lizard’s tail white cats fur, Datura flowers meat, and brandy. Bittu begins to believe that she might be Stree. Things take a turn for the worse when their friend Janna falls victim to Stree’s kidnappings. You can now imagine the plot of season 2.
