SSC CGL 2023 Selection Process [Revised]
- Tier I: This is a Computer-Based Test that is easy to clear in nature. All applicants who successfully apply for the SSC CGL exam will be issued roll numbers and admit cards, allowing them to appear in this computer-based examination.
- Tier II: This tier is further divided into three papers. For positions as Junior Statistical Officers (JSOs) with the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and Assistant Audit Officers/Assistant Accounts Officers with the Ministry, respectively, Paper II and Paper III are required, while Paper I is a requirement for all applicants.
- Candidates will be chosen for Tier II and III Exams based on their performance in Tier I, category-wise.
- Individual cut-offs for Paper I of Tier II (for all other posts) will be made available individually. Additionally, separate cut-offs for Paper III of Tier II and Paper I of Tier II (for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)) will be made available.
- All applicants who pass the Tier I exam will be administered the Tier II exam. The only candidates who will be required to try Papers II and III are those who have been selected for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.
