SOL DU Admission 2022 – Required Eligibility

Under SOL DU Admission 2022, the admissions of various UG and PG courses will be on merit basis. For UG courses, merit list will be issued on the basis of marks obtained in 12th class of students, on the basis of which students will be admitted in various UG courses, 50% seats in PG courses will be admitted on merit basis while admission on remaining 50% seats. It will be given on the basis of entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for various UG and PG courses are as follows:-

BA (Program) – To get admission in BA program, the candidate must have passed Intermediate from any recognized institute with 40 percent marks. Also, it is necessary for the candidate to have the minimum marks prescribed in all the 5 subjects selected. It is necessary to get 36% marks for OBC students and 38% for PWD candidates.

BA (Hons.) English :- For admission in BA Honors (English), students must have passed intermediate from any recognized institute with 60% marks in which OBC students have 54% and PWD candidates. Must have passed with 57% marks. Apart from this, it is necessary for students to have 70 percent marks in English subject in Intermediate. OBC students are required to have 63 per cent marks in English while the PWD candidates must have 66 per cent marks.

BA (Hons.) Political Science- For BA Honors in Political Science, students are required to obtain 50% marks in Intermediate. Whereas the candidate coming from the Other Backward Classes is required to get 45 percent while the candidate coming from the PWD category is required to get 47 percent marks.

B.Com (Hons.) – To take admission in B. Com Honors, students must have passed Intermediate with 40 percent marks from any recognized institute, in which 36% for OBC candidates and 38% for PWD candidates. It is necessary to score points.

There is no provision of minimum marks in Intermediate for students coming from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

DU SOL PG courses, Required Eligibility (Merit Base)

MA (Hindi) – To take admission in MA Hindi, students must have done graduation in Hindi from University of Delhi. In UG, it is necessary for general category students to pass with 65 percent marks, while students coming from other backward classes must have passed graduation with a minimum of 58.5 percent marks.

MA (History) – To take admission in MA in History, students must have passed from any recognized institute with minimum 60% marks and the candidate must also fulfill other standards.

MA (Sanskrit) – Under Delhi Open School of Education PG courses, students need to pass 60 percent marks in graduation to do MA in Sanskrit subject. The same candidate coming from other backward classes must have passed UG with minimum 54% marks.

MA (Political Science) – Students desirous of pursuing MA in Political Science must have passed graduation from Delhi University with minimum 60% marks for admission.

M.Com – To enroll in M. Com, students must have B. Com or BA in Economics. Apart from this, it is necessary for the students to have a minimum of 50% marks in graduation. For the candidate coming from Other Backward Classes, it is necessary to have passed graduation with minimum 45% marks.
