Connect Movie OTT Release Date

Ashwin Saravanan, commonly known for his horror films, is one of the most original filmmakers in Tamil cinema. His most recent movie, “Game Over,” received high praise for its originality and creativity, two elements that are also common in Saravanan’s other works. 

Connect is a film that deals with both logic and emotion and rather than focusing on scares, the movie concentrates on our emotions throughout the lockdown. As he said in an interview, most horror movies are superficial but Connect deals with logic and feelings, which truly make us scared and invoke emotions.

The horror thriller Connect will be available to stream on a leading OTT platform soon, although the filmmakers have not yet announced the Connect Movie OTT Release Date. The film was released in theatres on December 22 and has collected five crores at the box office. Reports say that Netflix has acquired the digital rights of Connect.

However, neither Netflix nor the filmmakers have officially announced the film’s release date on the streaming platform. The Hindi dub of Connect will be released in theaters on December 30. The film will compete with Adivi Sesh’s HIT: The Second Case and Ranveer Singh’s Cirkus at the box office in the Hindi belt. Telugu and Malayalam dubs were released on the same day as the original version whereas Hindi dubs are yet to be released.

Connect Movie Cast and Crew

Connect, directed by Ashwin Saravanan and co-written by Ashwin and Kaavya Ramkumar is a Rowdy Pictures production starring Vignesh Shivan’s wife Nayanthara in the lead role. Prominent names like Sathyaraj, Anupam Kher, and Vinay Rai will also be seen in the film. Manikantan Krishnamachary has done the cinematography for Connect, and Richard Kevin manages the editing. Prithvi Chandrasekhar has given the music for the film.

The film Connect follows the story of a single mother in India who notices strange changes in her daughter’s behavior during the nationwide lockdown.
