The Constitution provides political equality with universal adult franchise irrespective of gender, caste, creed, religion, education, or social status. A short video shows the entire election process including the preparation of electoral rolls, announcement of election, submission and scrutiny of nominations, withdrawal of candidature, election campaign by candidates, training of Presiding and Polling Officers, security to enforce fair election, polling in booths, sealing and transportation of ballot boxes, counting of votes, declaration of results, and finally the victory processions.
